Reporting to the Senior Manager of Technical Services, the Technical Services Analyst will join a team that is responsible for administrating and supporting the infrastructure for all Alcanna’s corporate and retail environments. The Technical Services Analyst will work closely with everyone within our organization, from a store associate to a top-level executive, so customer service experience and skills are a “must have”. The Ideal candidate should also have a passion for technology and helping others.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Administering a diverse infrastructure comprised of physical and virtual servers hosted on-prem and in Azure.
  • Working with VMware ESXi server and vCenter as well as performing physical and virtual server builds and images
  • Carrying out daily maintenance and administration of Active Directory, O365, SAN storage, and VPN
  • Monitoring and maintaining backup solutions including backup solution and SAN based technologies.
  • Receiving, prioritizing, documenting, and actively resolving complex and varied infrastructure support requests
  • Configuring, deploying, and maintaining networking equipment in both Alcanna’s corporate and retail locations
  • Review and resolve tickets assigned to the Technical Services team in the companies ticketing system, while adhering to the company’s internal SLA requirements
  • Creating and maintaining images for hardware use in the office and in the field
  • Act as a tier 2/3 resource for Alcanna’s Service Desk team
  • Participate in project planning and implementations
  • Create and maintain test environments for Alcanna’s on-prem development team
  • Create and maintain infrastructure and support documentation

 

The candidate should have:

  • University or Technical college certification
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills
  • Must be able to learn quickly and retain gathered knowledge
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • A minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in an Infrastructure Analyst role
  • Possess a solid practical knowledge and understanding of networking equipment, concepts and protocols (Cisco and Meraki)
  • Be familiar with mobile device management process and technologies
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft desktop and server operating systems
  • Solid hands on experience with O365 and Active directory
  • Knowledge and experience with SQL server administration
  • Experience with server virtualization, preferably VMware/ESXi
  • Knowledge of scripting (Powershell, Batch) would be an asset
  • Capable of working in a face pace and diverse environment

 

It would be an asset if the candidate has:

  • Experience in Dynamics 365 in a support and/or deployment capacity
  • SQL scripting, server or database administration
  • Meraki networking equipment deployment and/or administration experience
